In last year’s Chubb Charity Challenge, the Beall Financial and Insurance Services golf fivesome raised $9,000 for the American Cancer Society. That sum brought the total of Beall donations to the American Cancer Society via the Chubb Charity Challenge to more than $75,000.

The event is a unique opportunity for Beall Financial principal Richard Beall to combine his love of golf with his gratitude to the American Cancer Society, which provided tremendous support to his mother-in-law after she was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2001.

“The American Cancer Society was there,” he says simply. “We didn’t forget.”

The Chubb Charity Challenge brings together insurance agents, brokers and customers throughout the United States and Canada each year to raise money for charity. Since its inception in 2000, the event has distributed $12 million to 5,000 charities. Last year alone, the total raised was just shy of $925,000.

For Beall, the event is exciting as well. “It makes us feel good we have that opportunity,” he says.
